Barefoot Wines Expression Session in assoc. with Billabong sets off European Summer Season !

CAPBRETON, France (Tuesday, June 26, 2012) - The Barefoot Expression Session in association with Billabong will start this Friday, June 29 in Bundoran, Ireland. With a 3,000€ prize-purse and a list of big names within the British and European surf scene already entered, the Expression Session will bring its share of entertainment during the Sea Sessions Surf and Music festival.
Past and present European competitors on the ASP tours will travel to Bundoran this weekend to showcase the best of progressive surfing and aerial manoeuvers with the likes of Reubyn Ash, William Aliotti, Alan Stokes, Jayce Robinson and Oli Adams leading the pack ! With a push of swell in the 5-6Ft range announced over the weekend, everything is set for a great event !
The musical festival will also be a major blast with an amazing line-up of artists including Happy Mondays, Kaiser Chiefs, The Coronas, Rev Run from Run DMC and plenty more !! Organizers just announced that day tickets for Saturday have sold out and only a few weekend tickets and Friday / Sunday day tickets are still available via their website ! Organiser Daniel Brown is confident with the weather forecast and explains how the festival has been very lucky so far.
“So far every year we have had better weather than we deserve” stated Brown. “We always end up thinking maybe we should have an open stage, but we always decide against it and make sure we have all the stages covered. I have to say one of the best memories from last year was when we got a heavy shower on the Friday and people packed into the tents with steam coming off them and dancing themselves dry!!! I don’t know how or why, but the sun always seems to come out in the end.”
