La Caja de canarias – 8 th O´Neill Trophy

Arona & Los Realejos brings you the “ La Caja de Canarias“ 8th O'Neill WQS Trophy Surf International Championship.

The beaches of “Las Palmeras & El Socorro” will receive the mobile contest of the International WQS tour on October's 12,13,14,15 & 16.

For this new arrival to our Tenerife waves from the Surf Professional Tour, Championship The organization has prepared a Mobile contest to assure a Championship with good waves. This Contest that counts for the European Surf Circuit prepares it's better shows to receive the competitors with the better waves in every moments. This circuit will visit Tenerife waters thanks to the sponsorship of “ La Caja de Canarias” & O'Neill and the unconditional support from the City Halls of Arona & Los Realejos.

The Tour, with Championships that cross countries as USA, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil & All Europe's is followed nowadays for the principal promises of the world surf this way like many national and Canary surfers. From this contest we will have the European Championship of the WQS tour. The winner will obtain the Wildcard (special invitation) that will lead the WCT (World Championship Tour) Absolute World one tests, tour closed exclusively to the best 44 world surfers during the European round.

We want to emphasize the confirmed participation of the sportsmen comes from Hawaii, USA, Brazil, Tahiti, Reunion isle, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand an every Europe's, also many Canary sportsmen who follow habitually the European Tour, Jonathan Gonzalez, Francisco Saenz, José Maria Cabrera,
Ale Díaz, Hector Menendez y Julian Cuello.
