Protest Gathering on Saturday 27th of August in Mundaka

The Mundaka Surf Club, the Basque Surfing Federation and Surfrider Foundation invite all surfers, beach and ocean friends to a protest gathering that will take place in Mundaka next Saturday 27th of August at 16:00 in Mundaka's harbour. The reason for this gathering is to explain what caused the waves in Mundaka to dissapear, invite everybody to a reflexion on how it was allowed this to happen and recall popular support for future actions in order to recover the wave and protect our coast. The gathering will be:

15:45 Welcome and concentration beside the rowing club at Mundaka's harbour. 16:00 Paddle from Txorrokopunta to the “new sanddune” in Laida. The ferry will be working for those that can not paddle. 16:30 protest action on the sandune 16:45 Back to Mundaka 17:15 Presentation about the origins, actual situation, what has been done and what is in proyect 18:00 March through Mundaka's streets and sitting at Mundaka's square infront of the townhall. 18:45 Fairwell
