WQS 2* MEN 3* WOMEN Oct. 7-11 La Caja Canarias Ocean & Earth Pro Las Palmas-Gran Canaria

Again an exceptional day of surfing. Marie Piere Abgrall and Adelina Taylor dominated the final heat. Adelina couldn t find any high scoring rides during the first 1/2 of the final but then scored a 6.77 point ride and an excellent 8.83 ride on a very long right-hander. Congratulations to Adelina for her 1st european titel!

The men's final was incredibly close. Tiago Pires had a hard time finding the good waves and seemed a bit nervous having never won an EPSA contest so far. Too bad, with a victory here he could have made a major step for the european titel and the precious wild card for all of the european WQS events...

Josh Kerr as usual launched some great aerials but it was Anthony Walsh and Yerin Brown who got slightly bigger scores.
The winner was decided on the last set of the heat. Yerin Brown takes the victory with only 0.03 points difference to Anthony.
